I started my CrossFit journey in Feb this year at Raven and it has been awesome since day 1. The coaching team and management are fantastic, they make you feel welcome and are patient with your progress. So if you are new to CrossFit and planning on joining CrossFit Raven, be opened minded, ready to learn new things and have fun doing it! You could also get a "Very Good" sticker along the way!.... 🙂

Crossfit Raven, I've only got a few words (ABSOLUTELY AMAZING). My Partner and I have been working out here for around 4-5 months now and by far it's such a great community. The coaches are top notch and it's honestly a highlight of my day every morning when I get to work out at this place.If you need a change in working out, this is the place for you!

Raven CrossFit is an awesome blend of fitness and community. The coaches guide everyone through the workouts so every person gets a great workout and pushes themselves. All levels of ability are catered for and they really focus on improving across all areas with emphasis on technique and skill. Love the people, the daily cheer squad and friends here! The best place to train!!!

I've been attending here 3 times a week since Oct 2022 and I love it. Small classes and amazing coaches who take the time to notice and get to know you. It's so comforting to know that you can ask for and trust their advice on options, weights, reps.The culture in the classes at Raven is so positive and supportive from coaches and participants alike. It's a wonderful uplifting way to spend time moving.

I’ve trained at a few CrossFit gyms and CrossFit Raven is by far the best one hands down. The coaches are dedicated and there to push you. The WODs are always fun and challenging. I’ve noticed such a improvement in my physical and mental strength. Love this place!

Frequently Asked Questions

Although it is true that we train complex movements at CrossFit Raven, we understand that most people (even seasoned athletes) feel they are not ready to just jump right into a CrossFit workout.  We assess the abilities of all our clients, teach them the fundamentals, then ease them into the workouts at a comfortable pace.  Our focus is safety first, then efficiency and finally intensity. You don’t get in shape to do CrossFit, you do CrossFit to get in shape.

Have no fear.

The WOD (workout of the day) is made to challenge everyone based on their level of fitness. But that same workout can be scaled to suit the needs of each member in the class. We can change the weight, repetitions, rounds, and distances to fit your ability (we call it scaling). Modifying the WOD helps to prevent you from over-exerting yourself and decreases overwhelming soreness.

No! You are here to get fit.

Our classes are held for all levels of fitness. At the beginning of each class the coach will demonstrate and brief all the movements for the workout with scaled varieties to suit your personal level of fitness. You might be performing different movements to the person beside you but you will be working the same muscles with the same intensity.
