Our Philosophy

At CrossFit Raven, we believe that regardless of experience, age, gender, ability or health needs, being active produces a range of mental and physical health benefits that are crucial to a fulfilling life.

And we believe that there is no better way to be active and achieve a fulfilling life than through CrossFit.

At CrossFit Raven our programs are highly engaging, effective and habit-forming, combining key elements of gymnastics, weight lifting, cardio-vascular and body-weight training. Our training approach is incredibly flexible and adaptable in ways that ensure our workouts:

CrossFit begins with a desire to do better, the aim is to balance general and inclusive fitness.

CrossFit was developed to define fitness in a meaningful & measurable way, assessing physical tasks used most commonly around the world, across a wide range of sports; forming these into functional movements.  CrossFit is also the community that arises when people workout together, the communal aspect of CrossFit is the key component as to why it’s so effective

We’re surrounded with on street car parking and whilst we do have our own carpark at the front door, if you are arriving straight after a class is finishing it may be full, so please allow enough time for a 150 meter warmup!

Of course! We are a very family orientated community, with that we understand the balance of looking after your family and looking after yourself. We have a kids area in the center of our gym so your kids can enjoy the toys and watch you train.

Our classes run for a 1 hour duration including warmup, workout and stretch, with the exception of our 12:15 pm class, which is an express 45 minute class.
